Big Turnout for MBA Happy Hour

15/06/2018

On 29 May, an MBA Summer Meetup Happy Hour took place at Liberty Exchange Kitchen & Bar, a popular hangout in Central. Over 120 MBA alumni, students and faculty members spent an enjoyable evening making new contacts and catching up with old friends.

Ms. Stephanie Villemagne, Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Director of MBA Programs, welcomed those gathered, saying, “I’m glad to see so many alumni and students, with many of them our mentors and mentees, at this Happy Hour event. This cheerful gathering also marks the close of a fruitful academic year.” Afterwards, Ms. Villemagne led a toast that expressed appreciation for the unfailing support of alumni and students.

The bar’s private room was the scene of much fun and laughter. In this cosy, casual setting, alumni and graduates from various backgrounds chatted and mingled. They enjoyed delicious sharing plates alongside their drinks, and commemorated the special occasion by taking selfies.

Organised by the Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office, MBA Happy Hour events are held to foster connections between alumni and students. This latest event’s popularity was a testament to the strength of the alumni network and the close bonds forged in the alumni community.
