Highlights:

There is always contradiction between people. All of you may notice that the contradiction has been growing in political, social and economic sections in recent years.

The BBA Alumni Association of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is honored to co-organize with Research Centre for Sustainable Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong (CityU CSHK), Future@HK and Business, Economic and Public Policy Research Centre, Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU BEPP) to organize the "Deep Seated Contradictions in Hong Kong Seminar Series"

We are honoured to invite Mr. Wing Ching SHIH, Chairman and CEO of Centaline Group, Founder and Chairman of am730 Media Limited and Member of Future@HK to be our guest speaker on the topic "Poverty in Capitalism and its Solution: Butterfly Effect of Primary Distribution". Since some of you could not attend the talk on February 12, 2018, we are glad to invite Mr. Shih to speak on the topic again on March 5, 2018 (Monday) with Prof. Linda Chelan LI (Director of CityU CSHK; Professor of Department of Public Policy, City University of Hong Kong; and Member of Future@HK) and Dr. LEE Shu Kam (Director of HKSYU BEPP; Associate Professor of Department of Economics and Finance, Hong Kong Shue Yan University; and Member of Future@HK) as commentators.

Mr. Shih will again share his thoughts on Primary Distribution. Primary Distribution is the distribution of earnings and gains between capitalists and labour. In am730, Mr. Shih adopt the following incentive scheme, "one third profit goes to shareholders, another one third to staff and the remaining part is reserved as retained earnings." Through the incentive system, the staff in am730 are motivated and the press media has started to record earnings in 23 months. It is very unique in the industry. Mr. Shih will share his thoughts on Primary Distribution as well as leadership and management.

Seats are limited, and registrations will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
